Media Transfer Station

- High-speed backup, transfer and management of all material and metadata on Codex DiskPacks.
- DiskPack bays for rapid backup/transfer of 4K/dual-HD material.
- Can act as 'ingest' system for transferring material onto existing post-production house networks.
- Fast, secure network options for simple, rapid transfer of all material onto SANs, backup arrays or between locations.
- Unique Virtual File System allows post-production personnel to access Codex-originated material in a variety of resolutions and common file-formats, simultaneously and without the need for intermediate duplication, copying and conversion.
- Material can be copied back onto Codex DiskPacks for fast transfer of large amounts of material (e.g. 4K film scans), or for location screenings of 'digital dailies' where a network connection to the location Codex unit is unavailable.

Media Manager

- Fixed internal drives for storage of all shots, audio and media recorded to date, available for instant access at full uncompressed quality.
- Fast, secure network options for simple, rapid transfer of all material onto SANs, backup arrays or between locations.
- High-speed backup and transfer of material on Codex DiskPacks.
- Unique Virtual File System for multi-user, multi-format network access of all material.
- Full RS-422 machine control for automated acquisition and playout of tape-based material via single/dual-link HD-SDI.
- Shots and metadata can be remotely browsed, reviewed and updated using cross-platform Media Manager software.
- Fully-automatable background archiving of original material to disk/data-tape.
- Additional storage can be added in the form of 16-32TB RAID-6 blocks to increase disk capacity.
