List of tablets with OLED displays

OLED technology enables the world's best displays, and as OLEDs can be made flexible, light, thin and highly efficient, these displays are taking over many markets such as smartphones, TVs, VR and wearables. Another field where OLED displays are being adopted is the tablet market.

AMOLED displays traditionally found it more difficult to penetrate the tablet market as larger displays are more expensive to produce. But this is changing as OLED displays production costs are coming down. Samsung is leading the OLED tablet market, and its high-end Galaxy Tab tablet models are mostly using AMOLED displays. Other companies are also introducing AMOLED displays in tablet devices, including Apple with its 2024 iPad Pro devices. For industry news regarding OLED tablets, click here.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ / S10 Ultra

Samsung's 2024 Galaxy Tab S10 flagship range of tablets includes two models, both with high-end AMOLED displays. The Galaxy Tab S10+ offers a 12.4" 120Hz 1752x2800 Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO display, a Mediatek Dimensity 9300+ chipset, 12 GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage, a microSDXC card slot and stylus support.

The Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra has a larger 14.6" 120Hz 1848x2960 LTPO Dynamic AMOLED 2X, and better specifications, including more memory options (up to 16GB RAM and 1 TB storage) and better cameras.

Huawei MatePad Edge

Huawei's MatePad Edge tablet offers a 14.2" 1000 nits 120Hz 3120x2080 AMOLED display, a Kirin X90A chipset, up to 32GB RAM and up to 2TB of storage.

Huawei MatePad Mini

Huawei's MatePad Mini is a small tablet that offers a 8.8" 120Hz 1,800 nits (peak) 1600x2560 AMOLED display, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage - and Huawei's own Harmony OS 5.1.

The MatePad Mini will start shipping in China on September 13.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 / S11 Ultra

Samsung's Galaxy Tab S11 offers a 11" 120Hz 1,600 nits (peak) 1600x2560 LTPO AMOLED display, a Mediatek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, 12 GB of RAM, up to 512GB of storage and a microSDXC slot.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra offers a larger 14.6" 120Hz 1848x2960 LTPO AMOLED, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1T of storage.

ZTE RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro (Astra)

ZTE RedMagic's Tablet 3 Pro (will be known as the RedMagic Astra outside of China) is the company's first OLED gaming tablet, that offers a 9.06" 1504 x 2400 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display. Other features include a SNapdragon 8 Elit chipset, a RedCore R3 Pro chip, up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage. 

The RedMagic Tablet 3 Pro will ship in July 1 2025, starting at 4,000 Yuan (around $550).

Huawei MatePad Pro 13.2 (2024)

Huawei's 2024 MatePad Pro 13.2 HarmonyOS tablet offers a 13.2" 144Hz 2880x1920 AMOLED display, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.

The MatePad Pro 13.2 (2024) will ship by the end of 2024, starting at around $700, in China.

Honor Pad GT Pro

The Honor Pad GT Pro tablet offers a 12.3" 144Hz 1600 nits (peak) 1920x3000 AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

The Pad GT Pro is now shipping in China starting at around $350.

Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024)

Huawei's MatePad Pro 12.2 (2024) is a high-end tablet that offers a 12.2" 2000 nits 144Hz 2800x1840 tandem-stack AMOLED display, which Huawei says offers 3X the lifetime of standard AMOLEDs, and a 33% improvement in power consumption. The MatePad Pro 12.2 offers up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

The MatePad Pro 12.2 will ship soon in China starting at around $600.
