An Cu-U occurrence/prospects located in approximate T38N, R9&10E, G&SRM, about 3.2 km (2.0 miles) SSW of Tsegi, in tbhe vicinity of the Copper Mine Trading Post, about 27 miles N of the Gap (highway 89) on a dirt road. This locality is poorly located. This locality is not listed in the USGS MRDS database. The geographic coordinates presented are for the Copper Mine Trading Post.

Mineralization is a Cu-U deposit hosted in the Navajo Sandstone. Copper mineralization (malachite, chrysocolla, chalcocite, cuprite, covellite and bornite) fill fault and joint fractures and some along bedding planes in the sandstone. A fault zone trends NNW with the west side down and a major joint set that trends NE. Sparce metatorbernite with barite is present. Radiation level is 15X background along fissures associated with copper minerals.

Workings include surface openings comprised of numerous open pits, short adits and drill holes.
