About My Library

Congregation Beth Israel, a Reform/Conservative synagogue located in Corpus Christi, TX, has a library with about 3200 items. The great majority are books, but we also have some CDs and DVDs (both music and video). We have no paid staff. In fact, we have just myself and another person taking care of the library. Right now we have a very small amount of activity (less than 10 books borrowed during any given month). We are interested in creating an online library (using Tinycat) in order to increase interest in the library.

About Me

I am a retired systems analyst. I previously worked for a medium sized (about 3k employees) heavy construction company here in Corpus Christi. I am actually the assistant to the head librarian who is a research marine biologist.
