Just like the current situation (since com.apple.keylayout.US no longer exists), ignored by the system and falling back to using the last used ascii-capable keyboard layout. |

Change the name of US keyboard layout to the updated one (
com.apple.keylayout.ABC) and further allow user to set default keyboard layout other thanABCsuch asUS-Extended, which allows accented Latin characters (e.g. typing⌥+uto getü, partially fixes #646 )
