"Manifest V3 allows YouTube to inject the ads directly into the video, instead of having the ad as a separate file which can be blocked." This sentence at YouTube#Recent history (2023–present) is simply incorrect. Manifest V3 (client side) is a wholly separate technology from server-side ad injection (SSAI). The provided citation doesn't even mention MV3 anywhere. Counterintuitively, Manifest V3 reduces the need to use SSAI as it limits the functionality of ad blockers. As such, I would request the sentence in question to be either removed or modified to reflect the true nature of this subject. 86.115.111.250 (talk) 12:33, 22 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is a list of games on YouTube, including League of Legends, Minecraft, Roblox, Angry Birds, Thief Puzzle, and Color Burst 3D. 184.146.105.207 (talk) 20:42, 2 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

This is mentioned in the Playables section, but it isn't intended to be an exhaustive list and maybe should be split off into a separate article as there are over 75 games .--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 07:03, 3 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Internet censorship in Algeria

[edit]

List of websites blocked in Algeria

As of July 14, 2025, these following websites, contents and applications banned in Algeria:

Their reasons are:

  • Emilien is midday master between September 25, 2023 and July 6, 2025 on the program Les Douze Coups de midi, is eliminated for the 647th participation by Romain on TF1.
  • Gaza war or Hamas Israel is an armed conflict in the Gaza Strip and Israel fought since 7 October 2023, as part of the unresolved Israeli–Palestinian and Gaza–Israel conflicts dating back to the 20th century. On 7 October 2023, Hamas-led militant groups launched a surprise attack on Israel, in which 1,195 Israelis and foreign nationals, including 815 civilians, were killed, and 251 taken hostage with the stated goal of forcing Israel to release Palestinian prisoners. Since the start of the Israeli offensive that followed, over 57,000 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed, over half of them women and children, and more than 136,000 injured. A study in the Lancet estimated 64,260 deaths in Gaza due to traumatic injuries by June 2024, while noting a larger potential death toll when "indirect" deaths are included.
  • Iran Israel war: An armed conflict between Iran and Israel began when Israel launched surprise attacks on key military and nuclear facilities in Iran on 13 June 2025, in the midst of the Gaza war and its broader regional spillover. In the opening hours of the war, Israeli air and ground forces assassinated some of Iran's prominent military leaders, nuclear scientists, and politicians; and damaged or destroyed Iran's air defenses and some of its nuclear and military facilities. Israel launched hundreds of airstrikes throughout the war. Iran retaliated with waves of missile and drone strikes against Israeli cities and military sites; over 550 ballistic missiles and more than 1,000 explosive drones were launched by Iran during the war. The Iran-allied Houthis in Yemen also fired several missiles at Israel, in an adjunct of the Red Sea crisis. The United States, which defended Israel against Iranian missiles and drones, took offensive action on the ninth day of the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites. Iran retaliated by firing missiles at a US base in Qatar. On 24 June, Israel and Iran agreed to a ceasefire after insistence from the US, following an appeal by Iran to Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman to press US President Donald Trump to use his influence on Israel to agree to an immediate ceasefire with Iran.
  • On January 13, 2025, ARCOM announces the new numbering of TNT starting from June 6, 2025. Following the end of C8 and NRJ 12, their channels will be replaced by LCP and Gulli. From the 13th to the 16th position, ARCOM forms an info block – BFM TV in 13, CNEWS in 14, LCI in 15, and France Info in 16. France 4 moves from the 14th to the 4th position. The two new OFTV channels become NOVO19 and RÉELS TV becomes T18, will join 18 for T18 and 19 for NOVO19.
  • On July 24, 2024, Arcom announces that the channels C8 and NRJ 12 are not pre-selected, following a call for applications, to continue broadcasting on DTT. Two channels, pre-selected, are expected to replace them: OFTV (NOVO19), supported by the Ouest-France group, and Réels TV (T18), backed by billionaire businessman Daniel Křetínský. The regulator explains that its decision is "based on the criteria mentioned [by the law], considering in particular the relevance of each project for the public in light of the priority imperative of pluralism of socio-cultural expression currents." These decisions spark a fierce controversy questioning the authority's competencies, particularly regarding the plurality of its decisions and freedom of expression, especially on the antennas of Canal+ groups (CNEWS, C8), which will dedicate a long processing time to the information, sometimes mentioning 'censorship', although the facts seem much more nuanced.

This is all unsourced, and it would be more on topic at Censorship of YouTube.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 06:37, 10 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
