Our School
The New Beacon’s unique structure ensures a close-knit and nurturing environment for every child. Divided into sections, each with its own identity and atmosphere, our pupils feel part of a smaller community while benefiting from the opportunities of a larger school. As they progress from one section to the next, they are met with new challenges and expectations that inspire growth and achievement. Located in the heart of Sevenoaks, Kent, The New Beacon pupils benefit from excellent transport links into London, enabling us to enhance the curriculum with a diverse range of trips and visits in the capital. Whilst also enjoying the beauty of the Kent countryside beyond our own 22 acres.

The Boarding House at The New Beacon offers a welcoming and supportive environment for boys, fostering independence and responsibility. Part-time boarding allows boys to socialise, build friendships, and embrace a sense of belonging within our school community. With close supervision of prep and music, alongside plenty of time for activities, boarders achieve academic excellence while enjoying celebrations, seasonal events, and barbecues. Boarding is the perfect preparation for senior school and provides a unique opportunity for boys to thrive socially and academically in Sevenoaks, Kent.

The New Beacon offers inclusive fees that cover in-house learning support, with additional charges for after-school activities provided termly. Our Governors are committed to supporting talented pupils through a limited number of academic bursaries, covering up to 100% of tuition fees for eligible families.
