MCT New and Renewing MCTs - Update July 26
Updated July 26, 2025 As we step into FY26 on July 1st, 2025, I want to share some important updates regarding the MCT Program—especially for those planning to renew. New Fees Coming October 2025, no exact date and the cost will be shared at a later date. Starting July 1st, 2025, we will introduce: A renewal fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for everyone to renew) A new MCT enrollment fee (ecommerce tool will be available in October 2025 for new MCTs) Our systems are currently being updated to support this change, with the new tool expected to launch in October 2025. More to come on costs. Pricing will be region supported. Session Requirement for Renewal Effective January 1st, 2026, MCTs will be required to complete six (6) sessions or six (6) days of training per calendar year to qualify for renewal. For clarity on what qualifies as a session, please refer to the attached PDF: Mandatory Use of MTM We will be enforcing stricter requirements for using Metrics That Matter (MTM) to log sessions with your Training Services Partner (TSP). Please coordinate with your TSPs to ensure MTM is being used correctly. What to Expect Next More details on program costs will be shared closer to the tool’s release. All MCTs that were MCTs before manual enrollment have been extended through January 1st, 2026, with full benefits. You’ll see this extension reflected in your profile in your MCT Trainer History NOT active certification. All current MCTs will be able to renew when the tool is available in October 2025 and the requirement to renew will be to have an active certification and have taught one class since your last renewal and pay the renewal fee (costs to come later). We will be checking that you have taught the one class using MTM. New MCTs will need ISC certificate, one role-based active certification and pay the MCT new enrollment fee. Here’s to a successful and impactful FY26!Some queries on Power Apps licensing
Can anyone help ?me for the following questions about Power Apps? We don't have an appropriate contact of Microsoft for this kind of questions. 1. Is it possible to consolidate users executing Power Apps on each digital signage into a single user? Or is there a limit to the number of concurrent connections? 2. All the users who only refer to digital signage are required to have a license for Dataverse? 3. Is it allowed to share one account between the users who execute Apps? Can users of the app share a single account? 4. Do you know any case studies that using campus apps projected on digital signage?Ongoing Partner Verification Issues – I Need Help and Direction
At the end of 2024, I joined forces with a few close colleagues to create a global training company based in the U.S., with the goal of becoming a Microsoft partner focused on bridging the growing global skills gap in tech. As a Brazilian, I took every necessary step to legally establish the company in the United States — from business formation and IRS registration (EIN) to securing a D-U-N-S Number and setting up the domain and operations. Everything was done by the book, with transparency and diligence. On April 11, the company’s EIN was officially issued. I believed the hardest part was over. But what I wasn’t prepared for was the complexity and opacity of the Microsoft Partner verification process. Since May, I’ve been trying to verify the business and my personal identity to officially join the Microsoft Partner Network. I've submitted every required document multiple times — company formation papers, domain ownership proof, D-U-N-S details, IRS registration, and even identity verification via Microsoft Authenticator. To date, I’ve opened six different support tickets. I also reached out to a community manager who helps partners here but unfortunately, nothing has moved forward. The latest ticket was closed with the same response I’ve received multiple times: "We've reviewed your request for verification. Based on the information you have provided to date, we have determined that your organization does not currently meet the requirements to pass verification. We have closed your application. If you decide to reapply, please review the information at http://aka.ms/PartnerVerification..." This message is always the same, vague, generic, and without any actionable feedback on what exactly is missing. To make matters worse, we had to cancel our launch event scheduled for early July, which was to feature several MVPs, MCTs, and other community leaders. Without partner verification, we can’t operate or deliver what we’ve been building for months. What hurts the most is that the company I’ve admired and championed for years, as an MCT and community member — is now the one unintentionally preventing us from moving forward. I’m sharing this here with the hope that someone from the community or Microsoft can help guide or escalate the situation. We’ve done everything by the book, and just want the opportunity to contribute and to help others grow through training and empowerment. Any help or direction would mean a lot. Hello, I have been working with support in good faith after submitting a ticket request; they had asked me to submit proof of business name document and a domain registration document to verify that the domain I have on my profile matches the domain on the registration: " Dear Partner, Thank you for your inquiry about your Microsoft Partner Network account in Partner Center. We need more information from you to verify your Microsoft Partner Network account. To proceed with your request, and review your organization's status, please help us by emailing us the following documents. Please ensure that they are issued within the previous 12 months: Domain registration / Domain invoice at registration or renewal that lists Entity/Username and domain as it is stated on your account. Official business document, such as a business registration form, business charter, or articles of incorporation that lists Entity name and address as it is stated on your account. If not possible to provide additional documentation, please update your account information to match with documents already provided. List of supported file types and max. file size: screenshots (only from a source such as government) .pdf format Attachments larger than 8MB cannot be received by our system. Please advise if you are unable to provide smaller attachments. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations " When I submitted initially, they said that there were unable to open the PDF documents that were attached (first time this has ever happened to me): "Dear Partner, We were unable to open any of the documents you have provided. Would you kindly send the documents again in the right format. Here is the list of the file types and max.file size that we require. screenshots (only from a source such as government) .pdf format Attachments larger than 8MB cannot be received by our system. Please advise if you are unable to provide smaller attachments. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations" So I resubmitted the second time with screenshots showing that I have the PDF attached on my side and reattached the same PDFs as the last email. It appears that support then accepted the documents but sent this response: "Dear Partner, I am afraid that the provided document does not list the domain that appears on your Profile. If additional documentation containing this info is not available, please update your Profile to match the documents already provided. Thank you and best regards, Microsoft Operations" I am confident that the domain name on my profile exactly matched what is provided on the document, since it appears support accepted the domain registration document that I provided. Please see what should be attached as a screenshot below, showing the domain match: Domain registration document: Profile: Again, I have and am continuing to work with them to resolve this, so how can I get this moving forward? If further requested, I can provide the ticket number as well.ECIF Funding Eligibility
Hello Microsoft Tech Community! We are Serraform a new Microsoft Partner specializing in Security & Compliance and have a question on End Customer Investment Funds (ECIF) funding. Hoping someone can help us. How to we become eligible to accept ECIF funding for our M365 Security & Compliance deployments? Is satisfying the requirements for a Solutions Partner designation sufficient, that is achieving 70 of 100 points in 1 of the 6 partner categories + achieving more than zero points in each of the 4 metrics? We are in talks with a few prospects and they are interested in leveraging ECIF. Any guidance would be super helpful. Thanks! HI, I have problem with my partner account because I edited some details on my partner center account and now verification process has emerged again and I am stuck at employment verification stage and if I uploaded the required documents nothing will happen and they will ask again for same documents it looks like loop any help would be appreciated ThanksSystem Center in Partner Expanded Benefits
I am currently using Acronis for Server, Hyper V and Workstation Backups. Backup to Disk, as well as Tape libraries. I have a new subscription for Partner Expanded Benefits, and was wondering about using System Center DPM to perform my backups, as it would allow backup to Azure cloud (would use some of the 4k$ credits for this). Currently Acronis needs a separate subscription to allow this. Using DPM would save the annual maintenance costs that are being incurred with Acronis. My question is, only System Center 2022 is being offered with the Expanded Benefits. Is there some reason that 2025 is not offered. I would like to make sure that I will not be left in limbo if I were to switch to DPM, and then support/licensing in Expanded benefits is discontinued. As some follow up question a) has anyone else gone this route, and replaced a commercial backup software Veeam, Acronis etc with DPM. What has been your experience. b) How good is tape library support c) Online Azure backup - is it easy to implement, and does it work well (in my case, I would probably just backup up straight to Archive level storage, as I would use my own Disk and Tape as the primary backup locations, so cost should be minimal for many TB of dataMicrosoft 365 Business Premium grant is being discontinued

I must say that I am a Distributor and my Partners do not have access to the Security page and I want to make sure that they can access it. We typically create private plans for customers on our transactable public offer in the Marketplace, tailored to specific commercial terms and custom features. However, over the past few weeks, we've observed that newly created private plans are not being reflected in the subscriptions managed by Cloud Solution Providers (CSPs). To address this, we're exploring alternative approaches to ensure plan visibility and alignment with CSP-managed subscriptions.Solved59Views0likes3Comments
