SYNOPSIS

Found on the same day in the front door of an orphanage, Candy and Rani grow up closer than sisters, though their personalities couldn’t be more different. Candy is a brave, cheerful and tomboyish girl, whereas Rani is a feminine, polite and reserved girl.
One day, they meet a kind, wealthy man named Billy. Rani, who longs to have parents, suggests that Candy ask Billy to adopt them, but Candy refuses to.
Billy comes to the orphanage where they are staying, wishing to adopt Candy as his daughter, which saddens Rani. Unwilling to see her friend sad, Candy acts up so Billy would change his mind about adopting her. Upset by Candy’s antics, Billy’s wife, Inge falls for Rani and decides to adopt Rani instead.
Candy thinks that Rani would refuse them as she had done. But Rani can’t hold back her desire to have parents and shocks Candy by accepting.
After their split, Inge prohibits Rani to have any contact with Candy as she doesn’t want everyone to know about Rani’s background. In the meantime, someone comes to adopt Candy, not as a daughter, but to Candy’s disbelief, as a maid.
What will happen to the teenagers’ lives? Can Rani and Candy be together again like they used to?
