Membership Benefits
Membership in the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has privileges, and many of them. To start, members receive invitations to industry-related Academy events and seminars throughout the year, as well as a subscription to the award-winning EMMY magazine. Members are given the opportunity to join the Film Group at the current rate of $75.00 per year.
Entry fees are waived for the following two awards contests and a discount given for the third:
Primetime: Members submit a copy of the their membership card to be used to pay for their individual entry, or the individual's part of a team entry. A maximum of two entries may be covered by the members card.
Daytime: The Daytime competition is administered by the National Television Academy. There are no waived fees for that awards contest, however, a discount on entries is given to members of this Academy.
Los Angeles Area: Active members are entitled to receive one free entry, per year, which may be used to pay for individual entry, or individual's part of a team entry. Submit a copy of member card to entry form. Additional entries will require the appropriate monetary fee at the member rate.
Eligible members may vote in the Primetime Emmy Awards nominating process and final judging process. Members may also qualify to vote for the Daytime Emmy Awards.
