    HDN-X10 EditcamHD Non Linear Camera System

    HDN-X10 Ikegami is presenting latest Editcam camcorder technology for non- linear HDTV recording.

    Multi-format Shooting
    / Multi-format Recording

    2.1megapixel CMOS sensors are used to shoot 1080/60i, 1080/50i, 1080/24p, 720/60p or 720/50p, all as native format. Moreover, these HD images are recorded in full resolution on the FieldPak2 removable media with the Avid DNxHD codec in MXF file format.

    New Technologies for the Highest Picture Quality
    By employing three (3) 2/3inch 2.1 megapixel CMOS sensors and superior video processing, the EditcamHD achieves 1000TV line of horizontal resolution, 56dB of S/N ratio, and F10 at 2000lx for sensitivity. Power consumption of the camera head is only 32W, comparable to SD type camcorders. The latest compression codec is used to retain the superb picture quality in the recorded clips. CMOS sensors have wide dynamic range and, in principle, no smear. Each pixel of the CMOS sensor has it's own amplifier, so it can perform signal amplification on a pixel basis.

    AVID DNxHD Codec
    For recording on FieldPak2, HDN-X10 uses AVID DNxHD encoding. The codec offers selectable bit depths and data rates that most closely match those of the source media. Users can choose 8 or 10-bit sampling at 145M and 220M bit rates. Initially, the HD-NX10 will support 145M bit rate AVID DNxHD (220Mbps would be supported in the future).

    No digitizing before editing
    Audio and video data recorded on a FilePak2 can be directly accessed and edited from an AVID non linear editing system, such as DS Nitris, Media Composer Adrenaline HD, News Cutter Adrenaline HD, and XpressPRO HD, without digitizing or moving files.

    Proxy video recording / Support for Meta Data
    The HDN-X10 can record high definition video onto a FieldPak2 and simultaneously record proxy to an attached USB flash memory device. Meta data, which is clip information that pertains to the cameraman's name, location data, clip duration, time of recording and other data, is very useful for data searching and managing for archive.

    Disk Recording Functions
    Retro Loop, Time Lapse Recording, Intelligent Recording are innovative functions, first time offered to the users of EditcamSD. Also EditcamHD helps the photographer to make their work easier and more effective.

    Extended Functions
    EditcamHD provides a host of functions, such as build in down converter for monitoring, Unislot for wireless audio receiver, HD-SDI-Output, optical transmission adapter FE-100A and various system accessories.

    HDK-79EC/HS HDTV Multi-Format High Speed CMOS Camera System

    HDK-79EC/HS Ikegami is presenting the new HDTV multi format high speed camera HDK-79EC/HS. Exploiting new CMOS technology, the HDK-79EC/HS offers 1080/50p and 720/120p High Speed sensor readout for special applications, including Super Slow Motion.

    2/3-inch 2.5 Mega-pixel specified CMOS sensor.
    Newly developed CMOS sensors are employed to achive supreme picture quality for native 720/60p, 720/50p, 1080/60i, 1080/50i or 1080/24p operation. CMOS sensors have wide dynamic range and, in principle, no smear. Each pixel of the CMOS sensor has it's own amplifier, so it can perform signal amplification on a pixel basis.

    Chip C4 ASIC
    Ikegami's sophisticated video processing technologies greatly influence the development of Chip C4 ASIC. Chip C4 processes the digital video output from the CMOS sensors.

    CCU-790A with evolutionary features for DTV.
    The CCU-790 is a full digital Camera Control Unit with built-in downconverter and separate HD and SD paths to optimize the respective signals. Simultaneous 575/50i output is available from CCU with aspect ratio control. Studio lens and 7-inch VF operation with SE-79D System Expander

    New HDTV system accessories
    The CB-79HD / TA-79HD is a new high performance HD Triax transmission system. It is ideally suited for various field applications where there is an existing triax infrastructure. The system consists of the TA-79HD docking Triax adaptor and the CB-79HD CCU side Converter Box. The CCU converter box enables use of Triax or fiber cable without any reconfiguration. Docking type adaptors for Triax or fiber make camera configuration quick and easy. No local AC power is necessary because the CCU provides AC power for the full system. The CB-79HD CCU converter box is only 1U rack size providing efficient use of space.


    HDK-79EXII Full Digital HDTV Camera System

    HDK-79EXII The HDK-79EXII is a high performance full digital portable HDTV camera with compacted lightweight and sophisticated design with integrated fiber adapter. HDK-79EXII provides full digital high picture quality using 2/3" 2.2 Mega Pixel FIT HD CCD sensors and newly developed digital process ICs. The video signals are digitized with 14-bit A/D conversion and up to 38-bit internal digital processing circuit. As non-linear processing such as gamma correction is performed digitally, consistent and repetitive high picture quality and stable reliability is assured. HDK-79EXII has a compact and lightweight body with integrated fiber adaptor and weights only 4.5kgs (Including fiber adaptor, without lens). The low power consumption is only 28W. The camera provides excellent sensitivity (f10) and S/N ratio (S/N 56dB). The horizontal resolution is 1000 TV lines. The Ikegami HDK-series HDTV cameras are designed as a Multi-Use Camera to meet the format requirements of HDTV and SDTV. It have incorporated next-generation 0.18 micro m ASICs into new Camera Control Unit, the CCU-790A. Also using newly developed ASICs, an Optional Engine Board has been designed to achieve frame and multi-format conversion. (1080/60i, 1080/50i, 720/60p, 720/50p, 480/60i, 1080/24p CCU output).

    Simultaneous 575/50i Output is available from CCU with aspect ratio control.


    New Camera Control Unit, CCU-790A
    Connects with Ikegami HDK-series HDTV cameras via SMPTE Fiber Cable, either native 720p or 1080i types. And also the CCU-790A achieve consistently high picture quality and reliability that new digital processing can deliver.

    HD COFDM Camera Transmitter

    Ikegami is intruducing new HDTV COFDM Transmitter designed for HDK-79 camera series. After successful development of SDTV Wireless Camera System WA-50/BSW-500 in cooperation with Tandberg Television, now at IBC-2006 Ikegami and Tandberg are presenting new HDTV wireless camera transmitter. The compact transmitter has specially designed to facilitate a step increase in portability and mobility using HD standard. It has ultra-low power consumption for extended run-time and outstanding frequency agility. The remarkable performance is the combination of a new 4:2:0 / 4:2:2 MPEG-2 encoder, designed for excellent video performance with a new digital modular design. The integrated amplifier provides a range of 300 meters.

    MCP / OCP-200 New Camera Control System

    OCP-200 MCP-200 Ikegami is introducing the new Arc-net based camera control system. It can be readily assigned to any CCU-790 base station. It supports several operating positions, each with access to any and all cameras. The wiring between the central equipment area and the operating positions is single coax cable.

    Both, OCP and MCP are equipped with color touch screen LCDs and SD Memory Card slots. Remote operation over long distance is possible. The MCP has access to multiple groups of cameras. Each group includes up to 10 cameras. Any camera can be assigned to any group and a camera can be in more than one group. The MCP is used to setup the groups. Up to 96 cameras can be controlled by a MCP.



    HL-65W 14Bit 3-CCD Broadcast-Camera with new Triax System TA50 / BS-50

    HL-65W Advanced digital signal processing with the latest 14bit A/D Converters.
    Ikegami presents the HL-65W, a high quality broadcast 3-CCD camera system with 14-bit A/D conversion and up to 38-bit internal digital processing. The HL-65W is equipped with three new AIT (Advanced Interline Transfer) CCD-s, which combines excellent smear compression with high sensitivity and low noise.

    Versatile System Configurations
    The camera can be used for ENG-applications, but also fit into a studio- or OB-van-environment. For ENG and EFP use, multicore- and triax- transmission systems are available.

    Superb Picture Quality
    The DSP allows changing the aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3 and provides a high quality signal with various DTL-functions to optimise the picture quality. User specific adjustments can be saved in the camera head or on a memory-card.

    High Quality Triax System
    New Triax system TA-50 / BS-50 is designed especially for new HL-65W camera system. High picture quality, easy and reliable operation, low power consumption and small dimensions features the new system. It is a R/G/B wideband transmission system with 6MHz bandwidth. Max. transmission length is 1500m with Fujikura Triax cable 14,5mm diameter and 750m with Fujikura 8,8mm diameter. The Triax adapter TA-50 is ergonomically designed to fit perfectly to HL-65W camera head. The system supplies power for 5" or 6" viewfinder. Other features are Q-TV (AUX), Coax transmission and 2 channel audio. The external appearance of the base station BS-50 is only 1U Full-rack size. The base station profides two SDI component serial digital outputs. Remote control from MCP and OCP is possible.

    WA-50 / BSW-500 Wireless Portable Camera System

    WA-50/BSW-500 Ikegami is introducing latest version of its dockable wireless camera system with Ikegami Studio/EFP cameras HK-399PW and HL-65W for wireless transmission.

    Wireless and compact
    The wireless system is integrated in a compact housing. It will give the photographer total freedom by operating the camera and transmitting the video and audio signals in broadcast quality to the control room. The system transmits within a frequency of 2.2 ~ 2.7 GHz. Transmission systems is according to COFDM specification. Transmission frequency and modulation modes are pre-settable.

    Flexibility and full compatibility
    The distance between transmitter and receiver depends on the type of antenna and can be up to 1000 meter. In addition of the camera picture, camera control signal and tally signal will be transmitted. With the standard OCP, user has total operation control, same as for Triax cameras. The wireless system is a perfect completion for studio and field production.

    DNS-33W Ikegami is improving its Editcam 3 non linear camcorders and offers new interesting features:

    Ikegami is introducing new HDTV LCD monitors HLM-1710WR. The benefits of LCD monitors are the space-saving dimensions, the light weight and the low power consumption. It is ideally suited for various applications in the digital era, especially in sub control room, editing room, monitor wall, transmission control desk, in OB trucks, etc. 2ch HD/SD SDI and 2ch analog composite inputs are available as standard.
