Robotics Playground – Encoder sensor

Description
This block outputs the rotation in tick counts of an encoder connected to the respective robot motor. You can set different sensor parameters from the mask or use the default settings.
Parameters
Robot ID: Number identifying the robot for which the sensor will be attached to.
Motor encoder number: Motor number corresponding to the desired motor for which the rotation will be measured.
Reset option: Enables resetting of the output counts of the sensor
Ticks per rotation: Number of ticks or counts measured after one complete revolution in an actual sensor.
Sensor sample time: Time step interval at which the sensor updates the output values
