Hi All,
I have an FTXP20N5V1B9 indoor unit from Daikin, and it lacks the S21 port to which the BRP069B41 should be connected. The slot in the housing where the wifi module should be is empty and the actual wifi module is next to the control board on a smaller 5 pin connector (all wires are back) connected to the S430 port, as can be seen in the pictures. I recently read about an alternative wifi controller on hacker news named Faikin. It is made by a guy who reverse engineerd the serial protocol between daikin wifi controllers and indoor units and it is compatible with homeassistant. Perhaps you could mention it on the Daikin page (I am not affiliated with Faikin, but I just ordered some modules for my own Daikins and was happy that I found out about Faikin).
This is the website: https://github.com/revk/ESP32-Faikin
Greetings,
Rik.
