Describe the bug

When I try to install the GitHub MCP server from the quick link, It asks to open VS code and when trying to install I get a message on the bottom right saying
Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'inputs')

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Going to https://github.com/github/github-mcp-server?tab=readme-ov-file
2. Clicking on the install in VS Code
3. Opens in VS Code the MCP server page
4. Click "Install"
5. Error Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'inputs') pops in right bottom corner

Expected vs actual behavior

Expected: MCP is installed
Actual: Error message and MCP not installed
