Summary

To ensure that we're running on supported versions of framework libraries which will receive bug and security fixes, the extensions dependencies have been shifted to the 8.x package set, aligning with the current LTS release of .NET. In addition, the Microsoft.Extensions.Azure package has just introduced support for federated managed identity, which unblocks some critical security scenarios.

Scope

• Release a new stable version of each of the SignalR function extension packages.
