Information we verify includes the following:
- Business entity name
- Status (active/inactive)
- Jurisdiction of formation
- ID number
- Date of business formation
As part of verification, Clutch also partners with CreditSafe to perform a business credit check. Payment and legal filings are compiled from consumer credit reporting agencies to confirm a company is in good standing and has no derogatory credit remarks.
For the majority of companies, the verification process will take less than 1 business day. For companies where business information is not readily available or we do not receive your business documentation, the verification process can take up to 10 business days.
By becoming Clutch Verified, your company will be displayed more prominently as we trust your company is in good standing.
Your profile will be listed above Unverified companies on Clutch directories when prospects are searching for a partner to help them complete their next project.
Additionally, your company will receive a checkmark on your Clutch profile to signal your verified status.
Simply purchasing Clutch Verified does not mean your business will become verified.
If, during our verification process we were unable to find sufficient information to verify your profile, it is still possible to become verified. If you are able to successfully collect three verified reviews, your profile will receive Clutch Verified status.
If, during our verification process we encountered concerns with your credit or business history, you can still enjoy the exclusive benefits of Clutch Verified, including:
- White-glove service for review collection, including the ability for Clutch to
conduct phone reviews on your behalf,
- Additional information displayed on your profile to showcase your capabilities, and
- Removing competitors with similar capabilities from your profile.
Alternatively, you can request a partial refund. Clutch will refund your total Clutch Verified purchase price minus an $85 fee. This refund can be requested within 30 days of purchase.
