Describe the solution you'd like
Qemu is widely used to run a broad selection of network vendor products that is very useful for study and test purposes. There is some projects out there that rely on Qemu(EveNG/PNetlab), however sometimes they like too much overkill for a quick test or one node test. After testing quickemu for Linux OSes I think that this could be the perfect alternative for this purpose, a quick, fast and simple test.

Describe alternatives you've considered
EveNG / Pnetlab - A full feature and complete solution to create laboratories for test and study. Both solutions offer similar features but both rely on first installing the solution on a VM/baremetal server and then you can start doing your tests. They work fine if to simulate a many different scenarios, yet they sound to much if you just want to quick bring up a node and start a testing.

Additional context
Pnetlab - https://www.pnetlab.com/pages/main
EveNG - https://www.eve-ng.net/

Example on how-to use an Fortinet image on EveNG to start doing some tests: https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documentation/howtos/howto-add-fortinet-images/
